Why Give to Pauley Heart Center
Thank you for your interest in supporting the VCU Health Pauley Heart Center. As a nationally rated and top ranked medical hospital in Virginia, VCU Health is grateful for your support. Your gift to the Pauley Heart Center will help us provide the highest-quality patient care in your community, forge ahead with lifesaving research and educate the next generation of healthcare providers. Private philanthropy is fueling research and discovery in what’s next, bringing us one step closer to the next medical breakthrough in heart care. We hope you will join our Consortium of donors and friends and help us transform heart care as we know it today.
Ways to Give
From honoring an individual caregiver to endowing future research in a medical field that has touched your life, everyone has a deeply personal reason for giving. That’s why Pauley Heart offers you so many ways to direct your gift. We want you to design your giving in the way that is most meaningful to you.
Annual giving to Pauley Heart Center provides support to any of our programs or research areas. Support towards our unrestricted fund, Pauley Heart Center Campaign Fund, allows us to meet unexpected needs. Unrestricted gifts of $1,000+ include an invitation to join the Pauley Society. Annual gifts may be made online or by mailing your gift to:

The impact of major gifts is apparent everywhere across VCU Health. Major gifts can offer the donor naming opportunities, which are available throughout the campus for everything from physical facilities to new technology, research funding to program development, endowed scholarships, professorships and chairs. A named gift is the most enduring way to honor the memory of a loved one or the compassionate care received from a healthcare provider.
A minimum gift of $50,000 is required to establish a new endowed fund at the MCV Foundation. Minimum endowment thresholds are set by the VCU Board of Visitors and are subject to change.
The Pauley development team stands ready to assist you in exploring giving options and opportunities that will be meaningful and beneficial to both you and the Pauley Heart Center. Please contact us today for more information.
Gifts of stocks and mutual funds are coordinated by our financial partners at the MCV Foundation and can be directed to any program or area of your choice. Before making a transfer, please contact the VCU Health System Office of Development at (804) 828-4100.
Planned gifts include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, real estate, life insurance and more. Interested in making a multi-year gift? Pledges are accepted up to a 5 year commitment.
A memorial gift to VCU Health Pauley Heart Center is given in memory of a loved one. Families often specify memorials to the MCV Foundation in support of Pauley Heart Center in lieu of flowers in funeral notices. Many people also make annual memorial contributions in memory of their loved one or to commemorate a special occasion. In-honor gifts are a thoughtful way to observe someone's birthday, anniversary, special occasion or honor a healthcare provider. Please contact Donna Martin-Devine, Development Coordinator, for more information or with questions at (804) 828-4100 or PauleyHeartDevelopment@vcuhealth.org.
