As nursing director of Pauley, Mrs. Carneal oversees the clinical operation of the units providing cardiac care to patients within the VCU Medical Center. These areas include inpatient units in the Main Hospital and two Intensive Cardiac Units in Critical Care Hospital, as well as the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiovascular Procedure Unit, Vascular Lab, and Non-invasive cardiac testing in the Gateway Building and North Hospital.

Mrs. Carneal joined the Pauley Leadership team in 2017. She is a Richmond native and has experience in clinical operations for both inpatient and outpatient cardiac care.

Mrs. Carneal received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Phoenix in 2012 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Western Governor’s University  in 2016.

As administrator of the cardiovascular service line and practice, Ms. Greene's primary role is to provide operational oversight of cardiology and cardiac surgery activities within the VCU Health System.  Her key responsibilities include operations, strategic planning, business development, fiscal accountability, marketing, contracting, billing and coding, research and physician practice management.

Ms. Greene joined the VCU Health System in 1997 and has been in her current position as Cardiac Service Line Administrator & Cardiology Practice Administrator since 2001.

She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and a BS Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, College of Business and Economics.
