Important update – MyVCUHealth access change effective December 4, 2021

Effective December 4, 2021: VCU Health is launching a new patient portal, MyChart.

Starting December 4, the MyVCUHealth patient portal will no longer serve as the patient portal for VCU Health patients. You will not be able to send messages, refill prescriptions, or request appointments using MyVCUHealth. However, you will still have read-only access to review previous messages, appointments, prescriptions, and other information in the MyVCUHealth portal.

We will be sharing instructions on how to create a new patient portal account and access MyChart in December. Please continue to use the current MyVCUHealth patient portal prior to December 4.

My VCU Health provides fast, easy access to your health information. It's a free online tool provided by VCU Health that allows you to:

  • Request a prescription refill

  • View and request appointments

  • View medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues and selected lab results

  • Send a secure message to your health care provider

  • View and download your depart summaries

Access to My VCU Health is granted to adults ages 18 or older, and parents and/or guardians of children under the age of 13. Adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 are no longer granted access to My VCU Health, due to the increased risk of sensitive information being displayed to the proxy user.
