The highly controlled and automated clinical laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. Earned by voluntary submission, the accreditation indicates that our lab meets the highest standards in the medical laboratory field. All laboratory tests ordered by physicians are performed by registered medical laboratory technologists and medical laboratory technicians under the medical supervision of our in-house pathologist. Areas of testing include: chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, transfusion medicine, urinalysis, histology, and cytology. The CMH laboratory also serves as a collection site for breath alcohol and urine drug screening.
