Welcome to VCU Health Family Care at South Hill. Our friendly staff looks forward to meeting all of your needs including scheduling appointments, updating personal information, completing medical records requests, as well as any question you may have. To schedule an appointment please call 434-584-5540 Monday through Friday 7am-5pm. If your call is not answered immediately, please press option “1” and leave a message including your name and phone number.

Prescriptions

We require a 48-hour advance notice on all prescription refills. Please do not wait until you are out of medications before contacting the office. You can reach the refill line by calling 434-584-0046 and following the prompts to reach a nurse or provider line. You can also contact your pharmacy with any refill requests.

Nurses Corner

The nurses here at VCU Health Family Care at South Hill are ready to assist you with your medical needs including form completion, medication needs, or any medical questions you may have. Please keep in mind that we need 48-hour notice on all medication refill requests. We complete FMLA forms within 5 business days; all other forms will be completed within 7-10 business days. Please bring all forms with you to your appointment. Contact the nurses’ line by calling 434-584-0046 and following the prompts. If no one is available to answer our call immediately, please leave a detailed voicemail including your name, date of birth and phone number. The voicemail is checked hourly.
