Dr. McDonald comes to VCU Health CMH with 18 years of medical experience. She established an Internal Medicine and Pediatric Practice for Bon Secours Medical Group where she also worked as a full time physician. She has also served as a full time physician for Medical Associates of Louisa (a division of UVA Health) where she was also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics for UVA Hospital. Dr. McDonald received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (now VCU Medical Center) in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics also at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
