CMH Cardiology Services

CMH Cardiology Services is a full service heart practice offering a wide range of medical and surgical services in cardiac medicine. We are conveniently located at 1755 N. Mecklenburg Avenue, South Hill VA.

Utilizing a team approach, the Cardiac office provides coordination of care for patients 16 and over with cardiac needs or diseases, from evaluation and diagnosis, to medical and surgical treatment.

Diagnostic cardiac catheterization is available at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital. This procedure is used to detect and clear clogged arteries.  Traditionally this involved inserting a plastic tube into the femoral artery through an incision in the groin. Our cardiologists also perform cardiac catheterizations though an incision in the wrist—entering the heart through the radial artery. This alternate route may shorten the recovery time and lower the risk of infection.
