Voice and Swallowing Clinic
Overview
We offer a team-based approach to swallowing and voice disorders. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of swallowing, voice, speech and airways problems. Disorders treated include, chronic cough, oropharyngeal dysphasia, laryngeal papillomatosis, benign and malignant vocal fold masses, laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), paradoxical vocal fold motion (PVFM), vocal fold paralysis/paresis, spasmodic dysphonia, and vocal fold tremor.
Evaluations for our voice patients include strobovideolaryngoscopy. We have partnered with our neurology department to offer laryngeal EMG as well. Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallow and modified barium swallows are available to evaluate our dysphasia patients. We offer a variety of treatment options including voice and swallowing therapy, singing voice therapy and in-office procedures such as Botox injections, reinnervation procedures and medialization procedures.
