Do you have difficulty with bladder or bowl control, incontinence, prolapse or pelvic floor weakness?
Millions of American women suffer from urinary incontinence or pelvic support disorders involving the vagina, uterus, bladder, or rectum. These women often do not report their uncomfortable and emotionally disturbing conditions of their physicians, believing such problems are a natural and irreversible result of child-bearing or aging. The fact is many women who experience urinary incontinence or pelvic support disorders can be treated successfully with non-surgical or surgical therapies. Urogynecology at VCU Health specializes in helping women with these pelvic organ problems. For more information, please see the Urogynecology page.
