Memorial Gifts

Friends and family members may wish to express sympathy and respect for a loved one by giving in that person’s memory. This is touching tribute that helps advance the VCU Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center commitment to slow and ideally stop the progression of movement disorders.

If you would like to make a memorial gift to remember someone who has passed away, we can notify his or her loved ones about your generosity.

Please mention the name of the person in whose memory you are donating, and include the name and address of the person, family or group you would like us to notify about your thoughtful gesture. Donation amounts are not included in our notification cards, and your gift is fully tax deductible.

Memorial gifts can be submitted online or a check made payable to the MCV Foundation can be mailed to VCU Medical Center (the address is below). Please note "PMDC" on the memo line and include the honoree information.

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers

If you have recently suffered the loss of a loved one and would like to ask family and friends to make a donation to VCU Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center in lieu of flowers, we are happy to personally assist you. Our staff can send regular gift reports to specified family members detailing who donates and how much money is raised in memoriam.

If you have chosen to direct memorial contributions to the Center in memory of your loved one, please complete our short contact form so we know how to inform you about gifts received.

For more information on how gifts can be made in memory of a loved one, please call Andrea Perseghin at (804) 662-5300.
