Fall prevention with A Matter of Balance

A Matter of Balance is an evidenced-based, award-winning program designed to help older adults reduce their fear of falling and increase their physical activity.

Our program consists of eight, two-hour sessions using group discussion, problem-solving strategies and physical activity. Participants learn how to:

  • Reduce fall hazards
  • Increase strength and balance
  • Improve your overall health and reduce risk of falling through increased physical activity
